During 6 months of football sessions from June till December, 528  young people BAME and migrants attended regularly.  It was run every Friday at Gladstone Community Centre. ETAP also, had organised 7-a-side football tournament celebrated the National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2021.

The coordinator of ETAP Celso Oliveira has received certificates of recognition from the East Timor government  for his voluntary assistance services to Timorese in the United Kingdom.

1st February 2023, the coordinator of ETAP Celso Oliveira attended the event at Buckingham Palace during The British Asia and South-East Asia Communities in the UK Cerimony. 

Peterborough MP Paul Bristow, who visited one of ETAP programme said: “We have a strong and important East Timorese community in Peterborough".

WHAT WE DO


Founded in 2010 we are a non profit local community association aiming to support Timorese people and families living in Peterborough and serounding area. We have set up services to provide guide and advice to community members, develop a sense of community spirit, help with community integration, promote culture and sporting activities, reduce stress/anxiety, build up a friendship and other support. We also offer translation support Portuguese and Tetum language.

We have co-operate with others community organisation to provide guidance and advice.

We have organise sports, social and cultural activities including dance, football club, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, monthly meeting and Cafe Timor drop-in.
